How
can I contact Virginia National Bank about Online Banking?
Each VNB Online Banking screen has an e-mail button in the lower
right-hand corner. Click on this to send Virginia National Bank
a message to r equest support, ask a question, or make a comment.

How
much time should I allow for a bill to be paid?
Always allow 7 business days before your due date for bill payments
to be processed. If your payee does not accept ACH transfers,
this allows enough time to ensure the payment can be mailed
and credited properly. Use the actual due date, not the grace
period, if any applies.

What
can I do to keep my personal information safe on the Internet?
| |
Never
share your user name or password with others. |
| |
Change your password periodically. |
| |
Never
leave your PC unattended while you are in VNB Online Banking.
Always sign out of VNB Online Banking when you're finished
viewing your accounts. |
| |
Keep
your Web browser up to date. Microsoft and Netscape frequently
release patches that resolve security issues. |
| |
Try to use "strong" passwords. Avoid using birthdays,
anniversaries, child or pet names, or other personal data.
The best passwords aren't even words from a dictionary,
but nonsense words you make up. You might use the first
letter of the words in a phrase; for example, if you can
remember the poem, "Mary Had a Little Lamb,"
you might use MHALLIFWWAS as your password. |

NOTE:
VNB employees will never contact you by phone or e-mail asking
for login or password information. Never give this information
to anyone.
